Accessible Field Trips for Students
While working with the Educational Program Team, I created a best practice guide for accessible student field trips. I focused on the different disabilities that are familiar and various strategies for working with students during the field trip. Separately, I created "Do's" and "Do Not's" for rangers to follow regarding different students who are accessible and focused. These are government documents and are not available for review.
Workshop PowerPoints
The other project I completed was creating PowerPoint presentations that Rangers could use as a workshop. The first workshop focused on an overview of disabilities and how to treat those with disabilities properly. The second workshop focuses on what to do and what not to do when working with students with disabilities. These are government documents and are not available for review.
